Booking and managing appointments
Booking and editing scheduled work requires the time tracking: create and time tracking: edit permissions respectively.
Schedule new work
- From the
Schedulepage, choose Schedule work. - Enter a title, a start time and an end time — all three are required, and the end must be after the start.
- Optionally choose the agent (defaults to you), a ticket, a company, a location, travel time in minutes and the on-site flag.
- Save. The entry is created with status scheduled.
The ticket picker lists open and in-progress tickets (including those waiting on the customer or a third party).
Edit an appointment
Open an entry's Edit form to change its agent, times, ticket, company, location, travel time or on-site flag.
Complete or cancel
- Complete — mark the work completed and optionally add completion notes.
- Cancel — set the entry to cancelled; it then drops out of the calendar views.
Scheduling, updating, completing and cancelling are all recorded in the audit log.
