Marking articles for specific clients
Sometimes a runbook or notice should reach only certain clients — not every portal user and not the public. That is what specific clients visibility is for.
How to do it
- Edit (or create) the article and set Visibility to Specific clients.
- Pick one or more companies in the assignment list.
- Set Status to Published and save.
Who sees it
Only authenticated portal contacts belonging to an assigned company can view the article. Other clients, and the public site, never see it.
Changing visibility later
The company assignments only apply while visibility is specific clients. If you switch the article to another level, the assignment rows are cleared automatically — so moving it to internal or public won't leave stale company links behind. Re-select companies if you switch it back.
