What is SummitPSA?

·

SummitPSA is a self-hosted Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform built for managed service providers (MSPs).

What it does

SummitPSA brings the day-to-day operations of an MSP into a single application that you run on your own infrastructure. According to the product source, it covers:

  • Ticketing — a service desk with boards, SLAs, ticket types, and canned responses.
  • CRM — companies, sites, and contacts.
  • Assets — asset types, assets, and stock/inventory.
  • Contracts and billing — contracts, quotes, invoices, and payments.
  • Time tracking — time entries, timesheets, and approval rules.
  • Client portal — a contact-facing portal for submitting and tracking requests, with an optional knowledge base.
  • Automation and reporting — workflow rules, CSAT/NPS feedback, and automated monthly client reports.

Self-hosted by design

SummitPSA runs on infrastructure you control. The application is delivered as a Docker image alongside a MariaDB database, brought up with Docker Compose. The app listens locally and is intended to sit behind your own reverse proxy that terminates TLS.

One price, everything included

SummitPSA is licensed at a flat rate per technician with all features included. See How pricing and licensing work for details.
