Reviewing time entries
Time entries are reviewed weekly and pass through an approval workflow before they're locked.
Your weekly timesheet
The Timesheet view (/timesheet) shows your entries in a seven-day grid for the selected week, with per-day and weekly totals split into billable and non-billable. The week can start Monday or Sunday per the timesheet_week_start setting. You can add and delete entries inline.
Submitting for approval
- Open the week you want to submit.
- Choose Submit.
This creates (or re-opens) a timesheet submission, totals the week's billable and total minutes, and attaches the week's entries. Once a week is approved it can't be resubmitted, and entries belonging to a submitted or approved timesheet can't be deleted from the grid.
Manager approval queue
Managers with the time_tracking:manage permission work the queue at /admin/time/approval, where pending entries are grouped by agent. From there they can approve or reject entries.
Locking rules
- Approved entries cannot be edited.
- Approved or billed entries cannot be deleted.
Reports
The Time report (/time/report) shows utilization over a chosen period; managers can view a per-agent summary and report on any agent.
